During the school run this morning I stopped at a zebra crossing outside a school to let a little girl cross... she was around six or seven I would guess.
Before she proceeded to cross the road she gave me a lovely wai... and I thought how wonderful and couldn't help but smile.
But then... no fuker travelling in the opposite direction would stop for her... so she became stranded in the middle of the road.
Just as I was starting to regret my actions and was wondering what to do, another parent scurried across the road and helped the girl across, so all ended well.
What to do tomorrow morning if I see that girl waiting at the zebra crossing?
