It's the rot canal that is unpleasant . . . you can feel those screw-type needles go in and out of the canal dredging for nerve . . . yuck. Did you have your crowns done in TH?

Yes, pretty much what he said as well. I'll be back in NZ in two months so it'll wait a bit longer, but that should be ok.

Where did you have your implants done, David?

Yes...I had some crowns done at Chiang Mai Dental Hospital 20 years ago, and they're still going strong.

    PH ... all molars.

Small tip. Had one knocked out playing Footy. Lower jaw molar.
Left it for a decade as wasn't bothered/couldn't afford it in the West.

To compensate or because there was no bite pushing the corresponding upper molar, it upper tooth dropped down, only a millimeter or three but that meant, to make the bite pattern complete, the implant tooth had to be lower then the surrounding teeth.

    FUCK

Just realised that 'where' meant not in my mouth where they were done, but what Dentist

Where? ... Huay Kwang, Bangkok about 5-10 mins walk form the MRT.

PM me for the details in you need more info.
Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago ...

We're being shafted good and proper, and they say it to our face.

Mate was quoted 53k for 400k health insurance from an immigration accredited firm with a string of exemptions and restrictions, for visa purposes.

His gf did some trawling, and came up with the same amount of cover with fewer exemptions and easier restrictions, for 17k.

They both went to immigration soi 5 where she put it to the IO, only to be told that the cheaper insurance does not qualify since the insurer is not on immigration's list of acceptable firms.

But to be fair, and free, it's unproven and therefore would be wrong to call them a bunch of thieving swine; not that I would!

Stupid car ads. If you're going to be asking $100k+ for a car at least put some fucking effort into the ads beyond 'just testing the waters...' and one crappy pic. Fuckwits.

    That is all.

    Yes those too!

I hasten to add that whilst I'm in the market for neither I still like to keep tabs on such things and that sort of fuckwittery doesn't help.

Just message them, offer 1/10 of their asking price, and demand they throw in a pair of furry dice.

I suspect it may be the sulfites in the wine that causes the tummy rumbling.

Mmmmmm 5 hours drive on a Sunday accompanied up tut motorway by Michael Shoooooooooooooooooooomakkker.

Some twat in his new Audi decides that sticking it in sport mode and wellying it makes a sound better than his Mrs cuming.

So he decides to do this alternating speeding up to 110mph from the inside lane to the fast lane, then braking hard so he's back below 70 and in the inside lane. All of this display whilst its pissing down with rain on the M5/M6 - he must have thought it was so much fun that he did this for over 90 miles and only moderated it during the 50 mph speed restrictions where they are installing the new dumb motorway.

There are times when I wish guns were legal and you could act out a bit of Grand Theft Auto and turn his twatmobile into a sieve.

Dumped me stuff in the hotel and popped into work to check on a couple of things only to find dumb and dumber hadn't been checking the ditch sizes ....erm calibration so they've wasted approx 2 days work. Oh well, fuk it i am cracking a bottle of red and to hang with it being a school day tomorrow.

While I am sure this working from home malarkey full-time works well for introverts, I'm not finding it to be all that ideal. On the flipside the pollution and traffic in the local area is almost non-existent, so there is a silver lining.

Innocently post a family Gif on the happy 'Daily Cheer' thread.

Have it automated into other poster's shitfesting all over the forum, which appears to be based on bestiality and/or scat pics.

Asking them for more pictures to waste their time is good one.

A while back our glorious leaders decided to give us a new road. Couple of months inconvenience but they got the job done, it works, goes from end to end, that's good.

Last night I got home late, couldn't be arsed to shower and fell into bed. This morning, power cut; not your usual few minutes, they just built a road and now they have to do the power lines, so it's a 9-4.30 job.

No computer, phone on 4%, spare phone dead, ipad dead, power bank dead, emergency power bank dead, I never leave the house without a shower, radiation's awesome, water works on electric pump so I can't shower, and can't do much else; neighbours have all fcuked off for the day, the street outside the village is like a building site, so I use my last % to tell wifey the situation and that I'm stranded so she has to pick up the nipper from school, cnut of a day, spent most of it catching up on horizontal.

4.30ish the power comes back on, wifey gets home soon after, I tell her what happened and ask if she knew about it.

    She: Yes.
Me: Thanks for telling me, I could've pissed off for the day.
    She: I told you.
    Me: You told me?
She: <pause> I left the letter by your computer.
Me: <go to computer, bring paper back> This letter?
    She: Yes.
    Me: What does it say?
    She: <pause, click, big smile>

    Later:

Me: And do you know what power banks are for?

    Current status: doghouse.
