My last walk in of the trip, by the way. After 61 consecutive 11 hour days I fly home tomorrow!

That cancels out my moan!

He adopted us about 6-7 years back I think but the fucker randomly fucks off to go rooting and fighting and inevitably turns up again all fucked up necessitating lots of time and money in visits to the vet.

This last time he was gone a month and came back really fucked up so B20,000 later I was like 'fuck this he's getting the chop'. Trouble is he has always been an indoors / outdoors cat so keeping him inside 24/7 following that until all the testosterone is out of his system (about a month the vet reckons) is a bit cruel, but then on the other hand I don't want him fucking off again sooooo...



...twice a day, every day, the fkn fucker needs to be walked.

And trust me on this walking a cat isn't easy! It's like, err, herding cats.

Random Chinese lady stopped her car the other day:

Me: Yes.

Me: ...FML

So I pop to the doctor's today for my 6 monthly check-up and meds...and the practice has closed down, replaced by some cardio wotsit that I don't need. Gone, vanished disappeared. I realise the old quack was getting on a bit but surely he hasn't karked it without telling anyone?

Now I need my meds and I need a Doc to prescribe them and I need a minimalist quack that doesn't charge for all sorts of tests I don't need...and I need him to tell me straight in English that I'm going to survive another year. Not many like that in bloody insurance driven fooking Germany....

I need my meds......help help help....

^ Just to let you know the bad news - neutering does not really cut down on the fighting that much. Even neutered, the cat will remain very territorial, and fight with anything that strays into their territory. My big (neutered) male cat often turns up back home requiring tending and/or a trip to the vet. They probably do not wander as far after neutering, but they do not all become big lazy cats that do not wander around.

There are some interesting websites that have data from cats that were equipped with GPS and their trips monitored. Very interesting for cat owners.

I had noticed he's still very territorial. Probably no more than before but since I'm walking him I notice every time he stops to scent / spray something... Which is an utter shiteload of times. Usually to walk 10 m takes a few minutes.
