When we meet up with friends i normally foot the bill,so choose where to eat.
Mid price range normally we meet up with a coupe of friends a while back place i wanted to eat was packed out queuing in the street.
Luckily one of our friends is a tour guide she took us round the corner after a few minutes she said here is okay.
Had countless main dishes really good food few beers for me drinks for the girls the bill was under 1000 baht, reckon i saved around 1500 baht.
I must be very lucky.
^I only paid 35 baht for my meal and 30 baht for my drink and felt good about both.
The chippie who was employed by us to fit 2 doors yesterday. He turned up with a jigsaw and a sharpened screwdriver.
Fukked him off at lunchtime when we realised what was happening.

Just had a 2 mile section of road made a 20 mph speed zone near us.has a coupe of schools.
What makes that road dangerous is the school run parents double park stop anywhere attitude.
Not easy doing 20 mph in a modern car found it best to switch engine off and make Gert push.
Only issues then brakes don't work steering don't work but at least we are wthin the speed limit.
the door is 1 1/2 inches wider at the top than it is at the bottom now, the door frame isn't.
He's allowing for expansion...when it get wet...is the door frame square? Was the door ever square to begin with? Whats a square? Is the floor level? Everyone carries a plum-bob, right? Just call in a professional....:rofl:Quote:

I'm going to have a bitch about the lack of rain in Bangkok.
Its the friggin rainy season, its pissing down up North and we get next to nothing decent in Bangkok.
I'm talking real rain of the tropical variety, like throwing it down all day type of rain.
Weak as piss it is, Jesus, the dry season ain't far away is it. ?
As you know, my wife is a lawyer and she has found a loophole allowing the wearing of buckets at all occasions where they may be deemed to be functioning in a dual capacity as fashion accessory and industrial protection against falling gnomes . . . both criteria apply to Universal Studios in Singapore.
You need a better lawyer! :)
I hate people who change their kid's nappy (diaper) on the hotel restaurant table.
Would you change your kid's nappy on the restaurant table in a Travel-lodge??
Some Thai friends of my ex came to visit, woman lay the kid on the restaurant table and changed the kid's nappy in full view of the hotel guests - who (thank God), were mainland Chinese, so they didn't bat an eyelid....
I couldn't be asked to say anything - I really don't think they would understand my rant.
Thai people are banned from my own guesthouse.... and mainland Chinese... and the French of course.
