Not actually a moan, as a smoker I'm all for the new anti-smoking edict, though the moan is that the bib will exploit it as an easy and lucrative earner.
No doubt TDI will dig up the precise wording, but smoking in or within 5 metres of a pub, bar, restaurant, condo, shop, mall, office or most any other public place is punishable by 5k from the offender and the writing wasn't clear but looked like 20k by the proprietor.
^ theyre going up 40% too.
Pack em in with me again next week
Yeah, I'm a smoker and I am fully behind efforts to curb public smoking. I just can't see it happening, at least down south. The cops stand by watching all sorts of infractions. They seem to never want to offend. Even when there is a helmet crackdown they only pull over teenagers, never anyone older than themselves.
And the bar part of the rule sounds really dumb. Where do patrons smoke? There's no getting away from it that there are smokers that are addicted and will smoke, especially when at a bar.
Read that news and have already started accumulating cartons of Gold Mount red. 200 baht a carton at the moment (and they're a good substitute to Winston red). I don't want to raise the suspicions of the outlets, so only buying 2 cartons per week from each shop.
Come on chaps, as Buttfly would say "one final push"
Bagging up a dog poop and caught a lung full of the aroma, made me retch
Powercut as I was liquidising my daily vitamin cocktail of Banana, Papaya & Coconut.
Yeah, I vary it. Cardamon or Coriander seeds are a good addition, haven't thought of Ginger.
No ripe Mangos available now.
Let's put all the major school events in the shortest month of the year days after a long holiday.

TV on the fritz. Shuddering picture and goes to a blue hazy coulour.
Pulled out the reciept and warranty. Bought 5th Jan '57. So about 6 weeks out of warranty.
Such is life.
This last month in Chiang Mai has flown by. I do love life here.
I’ll be spending these last two days bawling my eyes out that I have to return to the USA.
I had a Thai moment yesterday.
Went to Home Pro to buy an orbital sander. All good, no probs so far, decent selection. Turns out however that they sold the sanders but not the replacement disks for them though we were advised we could buy those down the road at Global Home who sold the disks but not the sanders. What. The. Actual. Fuck. But. Whatever.
Oh yeah and Global Home had none in stock so ended up going home and ordering them online off Lazada anyways.
I envisage you getting the urge to turn the Datsun into a woodie with moggy type conversion for the load bed.
Walked the dog again, have a cold (from the shite air here in Korea and the minus temperatures...), so would have preferred to stay in; the wife stays in bed without any responsibility for the dog she got that I told her never to get because she's an irresponsible person and I'm not prepared to look after it...
The nice meals probably aren't worth the irritations she gives me; I'd love to live alone, just me and my dog...
Cycling should be banned!!!

Betts, so sorry to hear of your loveless marriage...I have a feeling you use this forum as means of marital communication, recalling the photoshopped piccy Dill put up and your wife's reaction to it..... The cold is just a side effect of a xanax come down......
