Thinking about kraft cheese slices (yes I know)

As a kid my grandmother had them. A block of sliced cheese? in a plastic wrapper. So 1 piece of plastic waste. THEN some genius decide that each piece should be individually wrapped, So 11 pieces of plastic waste.
Found some in the fridge yesterday. All individually wrapped but in a plastic tray so now 12 pieces of plastic waste. FFS they call this progress?

Kraft should go back to square one and claim a win on the environment?
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all

^The cheese itself is only about 2 molecules away from being plastic anyway. Krap does tend to over-process most of it's range of 'foods'.

I hate needles, so you can imagine how much I'm looking forward to have one jammed in my face tomorrow. Nothing serious, I just want an unsightly skin tag taken off.

    ^ Luxury.

I had a tiny skin tag burnt off my arsehole once. It kept getting inflamed by being wiped by toilet paper. The injection stung like I was getting stung by a bee there.

I injections are for fags. Clip those skintags with nail clippers yourself and be done with it. Sissies.

It was actually pretty much painless- injection was like a nettle sting for a few secs. Being 550 quid lighter is the greater pain- so much for the good ol' NHS in Tory hands.

What's happened to Tesco wholewheat bread? Tesco shelves are full of that Farmhouse brand rubbish but they are not stocking their own shelves with their own superior and cheaper bread! WTF??!!

    It’s a real problem isn’t it?
I tend to buy the 7/11 version. It’s ok if you toast it as I usually do.

Hard to beat U.K. Sainsburys bakery loaf. Still hot when you buy it and warm enough when you get home with just a lashing of Lurpack on it. Yum.

Sorry, I have to do a Cyrille here, but only because you shouldn't joke or mislead about the amount of butter one uses. Especially if it's Lurpak or Rewa butter.
It's "lashings of", meaning heaps, aplenty, lots of. You can't do "just a lashing" because it makes it sound like a just smear.

    WHAT ??? 550 English pounds ?

    JeeZUZ !

For that kind of money, I really would have nipped it off myself. Or perhaps with a hot piece of iron after a few drinks...

Why is it whenever you need something medical or dental done, it's one of the things not covered by your health insurance? Bastards......

    Yep.
I have had melanomas taken off my back, and a tag off the inside of my throat, every time with a cotton bud dipped in liquid nitrogen. It just freezes the tissue and the tissue dies.
Very cheap and quick. No anaesthetic required.

They weren't melanomas, dude. They definitely would have been pre-cancerous solar keratoses. Liquid nitrogen is standard for them.....and as far as I know, skin tags.

Even basal cell carcinomas need to be cut out, and melanomas have to be cut out for 3cms in each direction.

    But I get your point.

I had one a few years back.

Saw the local GP ... used the ole 'tie a bit of cotton around it and it will drop off in due course'.

I'm sure he used surgical thread ... but it worked a treat.

No cost to see our local GP.

    a) BTS malfunction caused delayed trains, gross inconvenience, and body mashing from frantic passengers...the company apologized to make everything better...normal service to resume on the weekend...
    b) TD website has been malfunctioning for almost a week: slow loading, inoperable functions and I received a green from Fluke...would admin like to explain what's going on?...
    c) I contracted my first cold in over 30 years: slowed to near death for almost a week...
Majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd

I'd forgotten that the definition of heatwave in England was pretty amusing- gray skies over London and near shivering in my hotel room. Hope it heats up a bit later.
