OK nige - my view is your strengths are water - you do good reflections, sky is also good - you do moody clouds well, natural landscapes are strong - man made stuff less so like the houses, your perspective is a out a bit - not a criticism, i can't paint for toffee and admire those who can. You have some very good pictures in the landscapes and your strength is impression, less so detail. imho.
A one hour excersise of an old pewter cup using up paint left over from the last above painting
It looks to me that you hardly have time for sleep .....
A lovely day out at Aldeburgh Suffolk ,,,,, accompanied by fish + chips plus an Adnams ale ,, got me self a cracking Floyd T shirt ready for the next concert
Off to Lanzarote to paint soon while the missus lays by the pool all day , getting a bit of practice in with some gouache , horrible stuff to paint with but needs must as various airlines clamp down on oils in the hold , which IMO is crazy its only a vegetable oil binder . Sorry the pictures have been a bit thin on the ground lately , been busy doing a major refurb on our living room , now thankfully coming to an end .
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
Nice and punchy colours and interestingly cropped.
Alderborough painting
^ very nice Nige
Top work Nige.
Your work has really developed. Amazingly good.
You should flog this bewt to Hallmark for one of their posh secular Christmas cards (the ones that don't have Santas or baby Jesuses) while the season to be jolly and merry is round the corner Nige.
^ or stick à snowman in there
Here you go Nige
I don't have the Dillz Skillz with the old photoshop but I am sure you can do something with this to tidy it up...
Nige, I'm hesitant to say that your work has seriously improved.
As after 15 years or so in Thailand that = 'Oh my work wasn't good before!!'
But your skills have really developed.
Got the kid helping with an abstract finger painted version of me favourite painting from me favourite artist.
That'll do for now.
Gotta do an Absinthe run before tomorrow's sesh.
