It wasn't always like that. Europe's poorest nations used to suffer famine and basic food shortages all the time.

A much harder life than any SEA country has offered I'll warrant, bar the example of the 'new people' under the Khmer Rouge.

Any factual, first person, evidence for that Tuddy? Have you lived in the bush? Worked with Aboriginals? Lived with rural Thais communities? I'd be most interested to hear of your experiences in such communities.

Even Rolf Harris recognises Aboriginals are lazy.

So you base your evidence on the comments of Rolf Harris. Excellent.

You missed the important part of Tud's post:

The Thais are lazy fuxs - self-evident since your neighbour cooks a snake the same way as the abos.

How would you cook a snake?

Liar, tinned snake, I think not.

The fundamental issue here is city folk trying to lay down their priorities on people who live in the bush. First problem is that city folk have no idea.

My preference would be to skin and bone it first, then make a soup or a curry from the shredded meat. That's how I've had it before.

But what would I know, never cooked nor caught a snake.

Terrible. Between killing a beautiful animal like that 'because it was there haha hehehe' and the barbaric and wasteful way it was cooked, they'd be better off eating people.

Yes, I prefer my bush tucker skinned.

You could not bone it, they have pretty fine bones, but you could gut it, get all the shit out and then bbq it spit style over some coals.

Always intrigued me why the abos could not be fcuked to do something simple like that. Instead they pull it out of the flames all charred and covered in soot and charcoal and dirt and shit and ho into it.

Ate an echidna once that was cooked with its jacket on, but them buggers are hard to peel. Echidna back legs taste ...... mmmmmmmmm...
I like poisoning my neighbours dogs till they die cos I'm a cnut

I've eaten my fair share of bush tucker. Some is good, some is shit. Meat roasted on an open fire, is good, generally speaking. Regardless of what it is. Boiled bothers me. Raw, I tend to avoid.

Very good question. As I wasn't there, I don't know. I'll ask Joy. I must say I doubt anything was wasted.

    Hang on, here she is.

No, the entire thing was completely consumed. Interestingly, the skin was roasted.
