Either I've got a setting wrong, the 'Not able to post attachments' is screwing things up or I'm being a complete tw*t. Past experience leads me to think it is the last of the three.

with a bracket at the end which I haven't put in otherwise you wouldn't see the code.

Anyway here we have the old coconut seller, this guy is obviously not doing so well as he has a push cart, I have to admit I haven't eaten a coconut in several years and miss the great big ones we used to get in the UK with loads of meat inside.
Many years ago there used to be this coconut seller that used to sell coconuts for 10baht and 100baht, the differance was for 100baht he would chop them open with a great big cleaver while holding the coconut in his left hand, easy I hear you say, well this guy done it blind folded, I haven't seen him about for many years so he either retired a very rich man, or bleed out in front of a load of tourists, wish I got a pic of that

after seeing those pics I think I'll be going vegetarian when I arrive in Thailand.

You'd need a stomach of steel to not get poisoned by some of that shit!

Watch out for the preservative chemicals in the dried squid. Made my kids faces swell up twice time a few years ago.

They're called 'Nam' sort of fermented pork as previously mentioned by Frankie.
Not bad if they are cooked long enough.
actually i think your both wrong the fermented pork is a more red colour this one is exactly the same as the fermented pork but its a chicken option - hence the white colour.

both quite tasty but repeat on you something rotten!

Most the suff up here is cut with way too much skin I'm not fond of skin unless it's fried. Give me good ol' Isaan Nam any day.

I agree with Marmite. I like a lot of thai food stuff, but to eat anything rotten does not seem to be a good idea.
