    Commissioner for Oaths

    Hi Guys,

I need to get sign some legal UK documents here in BKK. They need to be signed in the presence of a "commissioner for oaths". Are the signature witnesses in the Embassy considered a comissioner in cases like this. I will call the consuler section when it opens but I thought somebody might have had the experience before.

    Cheers, TP

    Hi TP

I understand that a licensed notarial is considered a commissioner for oaths and there are a few in town also try some British Law companies based here.

The US Embassy has a Notary service but I dont think the British do

Cheers, The British Embassy has the power to do it for 3000 Baht a page. British courts will not accept a Thai Notary in legal cases for some reason
