    ^ Even though I've made statements about potential growth in the Patt - Naklua - Jom, area, I do agree with Bluecat.

    It's always nice to get appreciaton and/or get a profit. But dirt (raw land) or a detached home would be the case, rather than Condos (although I still know little of the LOS market).

    A slum dump viewtalay 1 or 2 which was selling for 8-900K 12 months ago are asking 1.2-1.4M now.

    A friend bought a condo in Cha Am (near the Cha Am Regent) for 2M in 1999. We like it and priced a similar unit (2BR) in the same building. The owners are asking 5.5M. I doubt they'll get that, but they will probably get 5M.

    I stayed in this one a few times, but I wouldn't pay 25k for it.

    Premium condos are selling for 50,000 a sq meter in Pattaya and near 100,000 in BKK quite a difference.
