Can a farang have his name included on Tambien Baan as my mate has been refused because he's a farang ?

A farang cannot have his name entered into a blue tapien baan.

There is a special yellow one for farangs.

What if the foreigner gets Thai citizenship?

And can therefore own property and vote etc.

Would their book be blue, same as a Thai citizen, or the yellow one?

Excuse my ignorance is there any legal requirements to a farang having a yellow one ie is it used for the purpose of getting a visa or the likes ?

With citizenship I think you are the same as a natural thai and would then get a blue book

You will need A LOT OF DOCUMENTS to get your yellow Ta Bian Ban:

    A) The original Ta bian ban of this house and a copy of it.(The blue one)
    B) The original ID card of the owner and a copy of it.
    C) Your passport and visa translated in Thai
    D) A letter from your embassy to confirm that you are living in Thailand.
    E) If you are married, your certificate of marriage, in THAI. Must be translated.
    F) Documents to confirm your arrival in Thailand (I understand it's the departure card or the border pass, or an airplane ticket, when you arrive in a country)
    G) If you are divorced, papers about your divorce, also in THAI.

Some amphur needs parents'names, pictures, it's all different but the list is the official one.
