Marine Wildlife Conservation Ceremony on Jomtien Beach.
A story now relating to the Cities continuing work to preserve the marine life which exists in Pattaya Bay. Divers, tourist submarines and glass bottomed boats organize daily trips to areas which are rich in coral and marine life. On Saturday Morning we joined Khun Watanna, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya at Jomtien Beach where concrete pipes are being placed into the sea which will eventually become ideal locations for coral and fish. Further pipping is also being placed into the waters off Naklua. Following this ceremony, the pipes were taken out to their designated locations and will be monitored closely over the next few months. The pipes will be placed along a 4km stretch of water located 3km off the shoreline running from the Sigma Resort in Jomtien to Pattaya Park and a 4km stretch running along the entire length of the beach in Naklua.
