Hi I am living in Phuket and an avid scuba diver NOT working in the dive industry.
I have enjoyed some nice beach dives but am disgusted by the trash and silt. Why so much silt? Makes me sad to think of what Phuket could be.

Mal it ''is that it is'' not the best place to dive, try diving in Darwin and its 3 meter vis in Grey mud!

Take a quick trip out to Koh Doc Mai. Usually good vis out there and I've never come across any crap.
