Did have some info somewhere but buggered if I can find it now !
Basically you need a pipe from your mains inlet up to your tank on stilts.
Have a ball/float valve in the tank to maintain constant head in your tank.If the mains pressure is low then use a ball valve with a switch in it and a booster pump between your mains inlet and the ball valve. When the valve opens it switches the pump on,and off when the valve closes.
Have installed several of these over the last few years and no problems so far !

Thanks for the information,I want to no were to put the outlet pump, does it have to be near the tank or is ok to be near the house?alsoI have read that you need pressure vesal to stop air getting in to the system to stop the burning the pump out and to maintain constant pressure in the house. What pump is best to use for my house 2 bathrooms one kitchen.

You can put the house pump anywhere.
Yes you will need a pressure vessel, you can buy one or make your own, get a 10+ litre size.
Use at least 3/4" pipe to supply the house
A 250w pump will supply enough pressure and flow for your house
