Have a bit of Por Tor Bor 5 with "temporary" electric hooked up about 4 years ago. Bill sent to my house and no problems as long as it is paid.

Generally, I stay away from PTB5 land but this was cheap as chips so not much to lose if all goes sideways. In nawty's case where the land is very expensive, I would shy away from purchase.

Ah- that might make a difference- if lom is correct (which I'm betting he is) it would still be possible to hook up land with any deed type.

Is this in Khao Yai as well? I've done business in Phuket, Samui, Bangkok, and Ratchaburi, but I don't have experience in real estate anywhere else (though I'm interested in Chiang Mai)- everywhere is a bit different, it seems.

The land we hooked it up to with no house papers was the plantation, southern edge of Khao Yai, half way bewteen nakon Nayok and Saraburi basically.
