not much to discuss, i have just verbal update with no photos,, wifey is too involved with the water, sprinklers and so on with her garden, i have taken a back seat,,hope to get some info today,,but i think i will go with this type filter posted,,before the tank,,good weekend everyone

Looks like should be installing the roof tiles in the next day or two, the roof structure is about finish, no photos of the inside but about 50% complete on the renduring, the dressing up on the garage i am real pleased with from the photo, i hope it looks as good up close, these guys are looking more and more of a good quality builder,

I was talking to my local filter/pump man about these filters

he did add a word of caution saying that drinking water for kids should be bought in rather than using the filter output

or the water should be boiled for them

so maybe not really worth having, unless your water supply is really dirty, not even suitable for cooking?

Always the trade off. Here's my source of water so filter needed. Pretty mucky even when full. During dry season water level drops dramatically and turns yellow and stinks with algae.

i will use some type filter just to upgrade the water, still will not drink or cook with it, on the pressure,,can you use a pump to get you water pressure?? got to remind you,, i was a city boy,,never delt with any of this before, i believe she has had a pump installed on the outlet side of the tank to the house,, remember too,, i am in Nigeria working and not at home,,,that is why i am keeping my fingers crossed on this build,,

Most do here. Water to filter, filter to tank, tank to pump, pump to house.

i had a feeling that is the way it worked,, thanks Norton,, good infor,i will check the set up on my return, another problem she told me yesterday was when she watered the veggies, flowers for sale, fruit trees, etc,, on about 3 rai that they are sucking the well dry,,not sure if that will cure it self when the rainy season hits or not,, may have to dig another well,,the bugger well man must of got me,,and my baht,,

well the wife is driving to Korat today to pick up the floor tiles for the laundry room, bathroom and front porch entry way and steps. i will be home in about a week, i have been seeing these photos on updates and really want to get a good look at the quality of the build, the thread of Isee at the end really got me thinking, the small things at the end are very important,,detail work,,, very important,,and then after a couple months to see what all is moving and shifting because of temp change,,that is when you see the problems with the doors, molding, renduring of the walls,,etc,.,

Unless you have serious footing problems doubt you'll see much in only a couple of months. Will be a couple of years before some of the things you mention show up. No matter how well the house is built expect some hairline cracks in the render and minor door problems. All easily repaired.

yes your right, i will hope for the best, hope to start on roof today, yesterday rained all day,,not much done.
