Yeah, that realy does look like you Nawty.
The new addition to the family is she related to your old maid / nanny, you know the one that resisted your advances and then left to join the circus?

Thanks miggins....I used some very technical calculations to derive the proper F settings and lighting allowances.
BobsKnob.....why you ask ? I never advanced on the old nanny anyway.
Because they look similar, though somewhat different in age, simple question.
So the stories were just fantasies then were they?
Come on then...share the knowledge! (or was it on auto?).. I got a Nikon CP5700, fucking useless, been in for repair 5 times or so, but it couldn't take pics like that!
I can't get the piece of shit to focus in anything much less than bright sunlight, I'd trash it but I don't have the spare cash to buy a new one, and NEVER Nikon again!
Yes they are related Knobsy.
Miggins, the formula I use is technical, to technical to put into writing and make sense of it. All the factors present at the time of the shot come into it, even wind speed. i have managed to fine tune my sensory perceptions while taking a photo to even slow my heartbeat down the moment I click the button.
Nawty's on form again I see

was curious as to your camera settings that you used for the water pictures?
I deleted the info in the Maker Comment and User Comment(hex) fields because they are just a reaaaallllly long and incomprehensible line of hex that looks like 0x13,0x00,0x01,0x00,0x03,0x00,0x2e,0x00,0x00... and runs for about a thousand charactersCode:Exif IFD0

S'funny, I didn't know Nawty had an Ixus 750, that's probably why the pics are good, he didn't take them....55555
Did so....jealousy does not become you.
It is the x and y factors which take a lot of analysis and figuring.
Here are my bees....

as you can see, not bad for an old dude by eye onmly.....I devised a technique where i used the 'leaning tower of Khao yai' water tank and offset the posts by 1cm for every 2m to compensate for the towers lean and therefore make my beams straight.
Here is the home made supports in the concrete now...

we are putting river stone on the posts and slate on the walls, now just when you think they cannot fuck up a simple job, you leave em alone for a minute....well 2 days really....and you return to get this sample of their work.
I had only ever seen 2 ways of laying slate, flat with rough edges and flat with edges cut and trimmed......never like this. Original thought upon sight was to rip it off and start again.
I gently wandered over, perused the scene and over some time kinda liked it, sort of novue artistic abstract kind of work. Guaranteed to be none like it in the area, so we are going with it....call me crazy, call me ....

all those gaps in the stonework - will they fill with dirt/dust over time ?
Woodworm
That doesn't look like a fuck up; it looks like a mistranslation. I wouldn't worry too much though, they'll all fall off soon enough.Quote:

On saturday night we found just before dinner that the gas had run out and the local store had none to replace, go back and give missus the bad news and expect her to say, ok lets go out for dinner.
So, I wander off on the farm to look like i am doing something and return 30 minutes or so later and she has fired up the charcoal cooker and produced a 4 course meal and rice.
I would have to say that all of the 4 dishes were possibly the tastiest i have had for a long time and she is an awesome cook all the time, 2 were new and of our local produce and it was simply superb and amazing considering the cooking method....awesome.
Here are some pwetty flowers available on the Plantation at the moment....I know DD likes flowers..

See...lots of lovely pics uploaded here.
I think I should come and visit you, wonderful pics to be taken, I love your bees pic.
come up for the day when the bungalow finished for a bbq and swim.
Bring missus and just offload them both together and let em sort it out....all will be sweet and they will be cooking up shit and laughing about within.....hmmmm say an hour or so.....we can take the beer and chairs and sit in the river and wait that hour out.
I don't think there would be any problem, mine has already stated that she misses yours.....I assume she meant wife.
The kids would find it fun I know.
Rather stay overnight though if it's all the same to you. Is that the southern site as opposed to your Northern abode?.....it's only about 2 hours from BKK isn't it?
Thanks for all the pics, great thread. Looking forward to further developments. As a Bangkok bound, condo dwelling, nature loving but surrounded by concrete and pollution farang, I'd love to do what you are doing.
Maybe one day. I guess I need to marry first.
2 hours from BKK you could come and pick us up
