ok last 2 angles, so skidley, anything you want to change?
Splitlid, these pictures are seriously impressive. Because i designed the house myself and the architec worked with my layouts and ideas i wasn't sure if the house would actually look right, but now that i see it through the pictures you have created i think i am fairly confident that it will come out OK.
Cheers, can't thank you enough for the effort you are putting in. We will certainly have to get together some time so i can buy you a few cold ones (dare say more than a few)
no worries skidley, ill play around some more when i get time.
Can i get a shot looking at the entry with the main entry door, can't quite pick it up out of any angle.
not sure if this is front or not
Yep, thats the front, cheers.
ok heres the latest one,i recieved from a friend .apparently its a resort somewhere.
these were in autoCAD so i have had to put the dwg file into ArchiCAD and draw it from scratch.stairs are a pain in the arse, but getting there.
ok heres the first floor,as you can see the stairs are curvy,so a little difficult to do as they have to be drawn individually.
time so far: 3 hours.
ok second floor added, different sketch methods used to show this one. i like the first one best, but the second is kinda cool looking, like i did it by hand.
the third is more solid looking.
time taken: 4.5 hours.
Hey Splitid
Your stuff is great. I wanted to put my "Thai river house" on here, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I have spent many hours on google sketch up with it, and it still looks like a five year did it.
cheers danblack,
i upload my images to photobucket and then use the IMG tags and just copy and paste the link to the required image inside the ING tags.
sketchup is cool, have seem some really amazing stuff done with it, and the google whorehouse and other features make it a relly good modeling tool.
ok have put on roof, more windows, handrails ,doors.
got few more windows etc and then the ridge tiles
time taken 7 hours
"sketchup is cool, have seem some really amazing stuff done with it, and the google whorehouse and other features make it a relly good modeling tool."

Please explain
oooopppsssss typo. solly.
heres the link to whorehouse.

hi splitlid
Could you take a look at my model "Thai River House" in the Google whorehouse. If you think you could do your magic on it, I would be willing to pay.
hi danblack,
i have downloaded your model, will have a play with it once ive finished the current project.
That would be great. I kind of gave up on it. whenever I would add one thing, I would somehow lose another, like the upstairs bathroom, and the boat docked out front
no problem dan, heres the project im working on now. the model is finished ,so just need to start rendering it.
total time: 12 hours
