I want size 3 and 4 wall plugs.
Homepro only had from size 5 and up.
Online too.
Do they come in sizes 3 and 4?
Anyone know a place to buy them online/offline?
Cheers
Cheers.
Still only showing as size 5 being the smallest. :/
^ Any little hardware shop will have those.
It seems his hardware might be too little.
^heh.
@eddie - so have you installed the "rocks" on your rock-climbing wall? Heh.
Seriously though, my nephew & niece liked those rock-walls when they were little. Maybe your daughter will like a similar one, or you can bring her to a mall/ place which has those. Cheers!
Cheers, I'm not sure those are the type of anchor plus/rawl plugs I'm after. My terminology may sometimes be a bit off.![]()
If you can't find rawlplugs the size you want, you can do it the old-fashioned way (before rawlplugs were invented), which still works. Get a piece of soft wood of a similar diameter to the hole (a twig will do), and an appropriate length, then hammer the wood into the holes. You can then screw into the wooden plug. Simples.
I always use a Vernier caliper to measure masonry drills compared to wall plug diameters to make sure the fit between hole and plug is right. Also drilling the holes to the correct depth is important.
I've been putting up ceilings for the last 2 days and had to drill hundreds of holes through steel beams and cement walls.
Knowing how to keep your drills sharp is important to avoid having to buy replacement drills.
Whipped out me massive makito this evening for a quickie drill while dinner was cooking.
And no, I didn't need a crane lift or ladder.
I think it looks Snazzy Mac Tazzy. Thinking of hanging guitars along the wall in one hallway, and the indoor climbing wall along the other one now.
One thing I've learned about rock hard fokin' concrete and bricks. Such things generally only need one screw compared to two in shizzy crap drywall. One screw in an M5 plug and it's sor'id guv.
There hopefully won't be a bang and a twang at 4am.![]()
Holaaaa Senoritaaaa, Jose iz here for your mid-morning drilling madam.

![]()
Getting the hang of it now eh
Sure iz.
Looking at a wall mirror for living room next, possible full wall mirrors for the workout room, and then a 5 meter long climbing wall along a hallway.
Probably climbing holds on plywood sheets, with a wooden frame attached to wall behind.![]()
It's mainly for the kid.
Suction cups + wall kid tossing does sound like a giggle though.![]()
