It does indeed look fantastic, and the quality of the photos give it that CGI/artists impression look. That body of water outside, and given the berths on the opposite side, is there sea access?

It is a man made lake piped in from the sea, the berths you see opposite are pontoons, I have one but I am sick of cleaning it . We should be allowed to eat seagulls - It was all I could do to stop the wifey trying to catch them and add to the evening meal.

    South Australian New House Build-015a0226-jpg

The garage floor was finished in a fairly unique finish. Painted grey then electrically charged white and black paint flecks thrown down and sealed with a resin.

Bad pic but the beer cabinet is hidden - only holds 5 slabs - would keep Joe90 and Bsnub as happy mates for a few days

Post 77 shows the wine room - not too clear, so for the winos among you, it holds over 300 bottles, however for the Aussies amongst us - here is a pic of the good shit, before I put it on the top shelf - Penfolds Grange

Lovely place you have and that is down to hard work, have to enjoy the cash, can't take it with you.

Open places are great and the living room outdoors but breezes are the killer, just transport dust everywhere. In Thailand it seems to get everywhere.

You are probably right, however not too many keen eyed TD'rs just now - on post 60 I mistakenly posted a pic in the thumb nails at the bottom which shows me and wifey - Bad pic I am much better looking I swear.

Long story, started with zero, old man was an Irish labourer, didn't fancy following in his footsteps.

^ thats what i meant, some people though never take a breather and enjoy the rewards of their effort, always seems a waste to me and i have familiy history as guide.

My grandfather supplied M&S with bags, started it and drove himself into the grave, i never knew him. My other had a bus and haulage company that got bought out in nationalisation and was too fooked to enjoy the pay out. Well, my kids have got theirs so what's left is mine and once i stop working i intend to abuse it worse than i did my body in me teens.

As you have probably worked out I am a bit of a minimalist - I have commissioned one of the above 195cm x 195cm mirrored stainless with base to be placed under the stairs - It was a toss up between that and a baby Grand - however I cant play the piano

(It would have been frigging cheaper)

Glad to know I'm not the only one considering a trip to specsavers tomorrow. When a housebuild looks like a CGI catalog, you know it's good.
