Ducted Air-Con ... posh!
I'm jealous!
Iceman, that's come on some. The grey brick wall running into the house is that a heat sink, i have seen similar on other builds where their mass is used to stablise ambient temperature; help keep the place cool summer and warmer in winter.
Cheers NPT - That is a brick pier (Known as a blade wall in OZ) it was built only for ascetic purposes to allow us to place a Blue basalt finishing stone will be fitted in the next few weeks. The wall runs through into the hallway which will be a feature as well with the stonework fitted.
Looking good! I'm a fan of that boxy / modular looking style.
looking forward to the end result,
how much does it cost per sqm to build such a house over there? could it be cheaper than Thailand for the same quality of work?
Prices vary per sqm in Australia. This build will cost me A$2,500 per sqm but the landscaping plus extras I have requested will bump it up.
Much more expensive than Thailand, but I can assure you the standards are much higher.

All CGI's, any of the real thing?
You are looking at the real thing mate - Can I help you further?
Sorry for the duplicates but this site is a prick to post pics on - especially for an amateur such as myself
Looks like a load of pre-fabs around a communal pool
Is that a machine made rug?
Asking for Tom
Stunning mate. Well done.
Looks Great. Nice job. I have to say the pics look a bit Brochure-ess. Best to post a pic of yourself lounging in the chairs and sitting looking at the shared pond.
