Thread: Few Sala Sliding doors pics

So I am trying this again to add pics to the site.

We added some sliding glass doors to our upstairs Sala sitting area to keep the birds from flying through and keeping the rain off when we sit there. The guy did an outstanding job.





He re-positioned the railing outside. Set up the 3 sliding doors. Its tinted dual pane.

Hello Misskit,

Yes we ordered the downspouts here in Thailand. Wife found in BKK. I was skeptical with the amount of rain that falls here but they function incredibly well and look nice as well.

I will post some more pictures of the Sala soon.

Originally it was open air. It was fine but the rain comes and wife had to hurry and remove cushions and cover furniture. Plus its nice to sit there, we just wanted some protection.

A great idea, well executed, now no need to put your gin and tonic down when it rains .

Thanks JE. I like we can open as far as we want and need and if the rain sleets at an angle we can close up altogether and still enjoy the sitting area and to your point keep the cocktail in hand.

As for the folding doors, they are a great idea. Its the equivalent of pocket doors but here to hard too do being walls are solid brick. Like I said I have them indoors for the TV room and really like them. Of course sliding doors are easier.

They'll carefully wrap and cushion the foot of the metal ladder to save from scratching the fine ceramic surface, yet allow other heavier metal items and associated equipment to lay nilly willy all over the same easily sensitive [to abrasion] surface.

Where did you source the double pane from? Local dude or...?

So each side has 3 sections of door/glass for a total of 6 sections (across the front) and when open they all slide behind themselves so that there's only 1 section remaining?
