    Brick or Bolster chisels ?

Having just replaced all my windows I really missed the use of a Bolster/ Brick chisel. I've looked but I can't seem to find any. Does anyone know of a supplier?

get a mate to bring one over, if it's for cutting block to size you could use a grinder or circular saw with the right disk, if it's for bashing out bits of wall you could either use a crow bar or get a crow bar and cut away 2/3 of it using the grinder but with a steel disk.

They're too messy, hence why I want a bolster chisel.

I have been to Ruangsangthai but I wasn't looking for a chisel at that time. I was looking for a Honda lawnmower. Yeah, I got served by the American guy. As I recall he's half Chinese and Thai. The guy certainly likes to talk.

I could probably post you one from the UK, but it would cost about £7 to buy and about £100 to post

I got one at HomePro Chiang Rai but it had a long handle, still quite useful.

Hardware house has them and many smaller stores but it is not a standard stock item as people do not know what they are for and usually cost a days pay for a chang. I can send you one but handling is a nuisance.

Is a chisel any good if you can't knock it?
