Who cares that this thread was supposed to be about building wood houses when we can ogle those cabinets, wow! I imagine the others complementing them would pay 50,000, 100,000 or more easy for just the cabinet with 2 planks on it. When is the auction? I'm guessing it'll go for half a million easy from aficionados. The mildew and decaying bark are used perfectly to make the most magnificent design I've seen in my life. Pure genius. Never seen anything so amazing! Thanks for posting! Got any more pic? Please keep sharing. I am just blown away like everyone else. Holy cow.
Gee, your kind of prick aren't you? Welcome to the board.
Just sent you a green for that one! Love your photos but is wood really better for pastry than granite? We loved our granite for any kind of baking and it was easy to clean. What made you choose wood for a pastry surface?

That's just what they call that kind of traditional design. I am going to use it for cutting and chopping and maybe rolling out a few pie crusts. I'm sure stone is probably better for pastry.

Before the coup, I used to run into the illegal loggers all the time mountain biking up in the hills. I asked for prices, and it was always three times more delivered. No way THEY wanted to be caught with a big slab in the pickup. The military seemed to get the word out fairly well that any development or cutting on non-chanote land was not going to happen. Was very impressive to see those slabs cut with absolutely no kerf mark with the portable saw mills.
