Just down the road from me they sell used ' mobile ' homes and they are £30 000 to £40 000 and they are horrible.
You've got a great little place here . Economically sized and the materials look good enough . I think it's just what I need on our ' bus ' plot .

Mate, when we bought our place years ago there was a power pole in our yard. I have no idea why. Anyway she went off to the power department and for Bht3,000 they turned up and moved it our onto the road. It was so easy I couldn't believe it.Quote:

So far for the land and construction about 650,000 baht. We are buying the materials as we go along but have most of it bought now - there are a stack of receipts though which have not been tallied up. Bear in mind the last time i saw the place it was just a few pillars of steel in the ground.Quote:

As for the electric, no it's not yet sorted out. It seems to be taking a long time and I've heard rumours that an additional personal payment may be required to the lady at the office to move things along a bit faster.
