    Road Ride or Lawn Ride

So I've been trying to figure out whether to buy a new motorcycle or a riding mower. Saw these for sale..... Ride On Mower For Sale | East Coast: Pattaya & Region | Lawn Mower, Trimmer for Sale | BahtSold.com | Baht&Sold

but from what I understand they are marked up from the import cost quite a bit. It still would be great to mow the grass with a Margarita in the cup holder any time the grass on the land looks long rather than waiting for Local-Farmer-Dude to come over with his turbo weed wacker to soak up my 900 baht. Plus, mowing my own land is a heck of a lot safer than catting around on a a new 500X with the majority of the drivers trying to kill you. The wife says get the bike. I am thinking I want to chill and mow. Needing some advice here. Anyone buy one of these mowers?

They are lawn mowers and will only cut a lawn.
If you try using it on anything rougher then the deck/belts will start giving problems.

    No contest.

If you have a sizeable yard, get a riding lawn mower.

I didn't bring one over in the 40 ft. container and 'am kicking myself for not having done so...

Our land is flat and fairly true so as long as I stayed on a regular schedule, it would be fine. Would still need a wacker for the edges and on the steeper slopes of the pond and driveway, but 95% could be cut with a good mower.

Buy a deck chair. Sit in it with a Margarita watching the gardener cut the grass while you plan your next trip on a CB500X,.

That's not bad advice! The wife likes to take motorcycle trips so she is biased pro- bike. I hate seeing the grass get long, knowing Local-Farmer-Dude will take his sweet time coming over. Watching him cut the grass is not exactly my idea of a fun day, so maybe hopping on the bike and leaving might be the answer......

Or you could get one of these...

Dubbed the Mean Mower, the Honda HF2620 Lawn Tractor-based machine retains its original look and still cuts grass, but is claimed to do 0-100km/h in 4.0 seconds and reach an estimated top speed of 209km/h – all at 130db.

You have a wife Why would you need to pay someone to come and cut the grass ?
Simply buy the wife her very own weed whacker, buy the bike and job done

    Get the mower.
Bling it out with a custom seat, sun shade, neon running lights, mags, esky and stereo.

I just purchased a Honda Gas push mower. Our lot in here in Chiang Rai is flat and rock free. Picked them all up myself. Then go down and pick up a new 500X...best of both worlds....

Petrol hand mower. It keeps me fit and I get the satisfaction of sitting back after its done and having a cool drink. I earned it. A ride on mower's shite at getting close to the walls and corners.
