This is my gas BBQ
I bought a 4 burner Chinese copy of a typical Aus style gas grill for 14k 7 or so years on it has grilled many a cow, and still going strong, the one in bbk that is. the one at the beach, no so good.
Verasu has some nice ones, but 20+
I dont see the point of gas barbecues, might as well just cook it in the kitchen if its the convenience you need
These gas burners outside are simply Penis Extensions IMO.

Just saying guys
This thing looks pretty cool, and is on sale here for 17,000. But as bsnub says is more a griller than a barbecue for American. Direct gas is a no no for us Yanks. But the thing does look cool.
Plus my mate has the same one as 999, and I have enjoyed all he has cooked.

Hard to do a roast when your kitchen only has a gas/electric hob.
Hard to grille anything properly in a frying pan.
Not to mention it looks kinda stupid a few guys standing round the kitchen stove drinking beers whilst cooking dead cow in a frying pan.
Thats why women have small feet Fondles, so they can get closer to the sink and cooker
Only joking AO, i saw your name down the bottom when i posted that above
Small feet has fuck all to do with cooking a roast if your kitchen does not have an oven. I might add mine does and it is electric and food cooked in in rather than slow cooked on my gas BBQ cannot be compared, BBQ wins hands down every time and it is real damn cheap to run.
The Meth One's Fuck The Best !!
5 I have both a gas and an electric oven. I prefer the smaller electric one. I shall be using it in a few minutes to make croutons for our salad tonight.
Dill, no problems mate.
What you really want is one of these bad boys.

BBQ barbecue n. A grill, pit, or outdoor fireplace for roasting meat.
all it is is a throwback to outdoor cooking of, usually, meat
so, the normal BBQ would be wood or charcoal fired, there would be a metal grill above to place the food on
away you go
I have reported your post
agreed with thatOriginally Posted by Dillinger
for me, the whole point of a BBQ is to use wood, or charcoal
nothing to do with convenience, of course, that is what modern kitchens are designed for
Got a gas bbq from the shop on Sukumvit nr Jomtien, Pattaya. Its lasted about 6 years now, and used probably less than 50 times.
Don't think I've ever used it, or eaten anything from whilst sober tbh. So can't really state a preference.
Found the exact BBQ I brought from the USA at Rimping in CM. I bought it in the USA for 20 bucks at Walmart and it nested in my big suitcase on the way back. Here in CM that same stamped metal from China is 4600 baht. Wow.....
So I am going to build up a concrete counter that will house 2 or 3 of these bad boys. Put charcoal in them and they are like a blow torch as they have holes in the bottom for great air flow. I was surprised how much we could cook on one, and the better half said she prefers charcoal after using gas for four years. Doesn't look like the dog cares either way.
You Make Your Own Luck
The problem with Thai charcoal is that it burns to hot to quick.
