Your best place to start is Chinatown in Bangkok.

ToolPro (I only know of one in Udon) has some of that stuff.

^^^ Thanx for the responce, but l would like to get new equipment, the links supplied only supply simple hand tools.
When the time comes, it might be better l get what l want from an engineering supply hose here in Australia, the one l usually go to is Hare and Forbes, they have on the floor anything you require.
Load it into a container and send it to Thailand.
That raises another question, would l be slugged with Thai import duty, making it not worth it.
Maybe l could get it from China ( thats where it all comes from anyway ) and have it trucked to Thailand, do they check all loads entering Thailand ??

    Yes. Massively.

Find the maker of what you want and contact them to see who their importer in thailand is.

Need to be a bit more specific.

Do you want CNC stuff ?

How big of a lathe ?

How many Axis on the Mill?

Is the Tig going to be welding alloy?

What gauge steel for the pan brake and guillo ?

Plenty of places around but depending on your actual needs will depend on where to advise.

^^^ l just thought there might be an outlet in Thailand,, Bangkok even, that would have a range of equipment on display. Every thing from a jewlers lath to the larger CNC type, like in Australia,, Hare and Forbes here have show rooms in most capital city's, they also have a web site.
Where do Thai's go when they want to purchase equipment.

Depending on the level of equipment your looking for try:

    SUMIPOL Co., Ltd.,Cutting Tools Thailand,Measuring tools,Tooling,Handtool,Mitutoyo ThaiLand,Grinding Tool,Calibration,insert,endmill,Carbide,Cermet,Ins erts,PCD,CBN,CPV Wheel,VIT MATR,Caliper,Micrometor, Indicator,HeightGage,SurFace Roughness,Mesuring

THE MACHINE TOOL MAKER "THAILAND TECHNICAL CENTER OF YAMAZAKI MAZAK"

    บริษัท คราสส์เทค จำกัด | Krasstec Co., Ltd.

I represented these companies a while back and they do have some good kit along with manufacturers such as Seco and Walter to mention a few. Depending on how soon you want your equipment, you could wait for the METALEX show at Bang Na. There are plenty of enginnering exhibitions coming up soon where you can find some great deals.

If you need info on upcoming events i can forward the details.

Nothing like Hare and Forbes here.

You decide what you want and then go to that shop. no "mega marts" here.
