There's more than enough space, the guy said it's both Mac and PC compatible.
It's actually an old iMovie compressed into a full quality Quicktime movie that I am giving to an old friend as a gift for a Japanese friend with a PC but when I drag it onto the usb I get:
The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code 0).
Please help.

How big is it? You need to format the drive NTFS if the file size is over 4Gb.
And stating the bleeding obvious, make sure the drive isn't protected/read-only.
