You can sign up to the app store without a credit card too, I did

I'm new to this stuff.
I asked in the ishop and somchai told me that it was cheaper to do it on line than to use the cards. The cards was the way I was going to do it.

In terms of method if payment on AppStore I can say confidently with experience that an AppStore/iTunes gift card is far safer and just as effective, And no using an apple gift card is NOT more costly than using your CC.

It takes a somchai nothing more than your apple I'd and password to charge thousands to your account, this information can be obtained by "spearing" as well as "fishing".

You can indeed create an apple ID with no CC info.. However you need either CC account info or account credit (via gift card) to make purchases.

Regarding the issue at hand,, AppStore not accepting your billing address is either because it wasn't entered EXACTLY as it is on record, or it's a regional issue.

Best way to fix this is contact apple, and ignore butters.

The day that android is worth half a fok as much as apples products I'll be there to buy an android device. I'm not a fan of apples arrogant monopoly type attitude... That however doesn't change the fact that the products they offer are vastly superior.. Tie devices, content and overall service apple provides is untouchable by android at this point.... And I don't see that changing anytime soon.

go to Applestore and create an id, they will ask which "country" to associate with that id

then go to AppleStore Settings on the gayPad and logout and re-log using the new id,

How does this help? His device won't accept a UK address when trying to input CC info.... So creating a new acct. Or using a different acct. Will just lead to the same issue when he try's to add his CC info.

In my experience not entering the address exactly as it is listed in the system ( and even if you know your address, do you know what is supposed to be capitalized,abbreviated etc?) or how you wrote the info years ago on a CC application?

Forget that it could be the way the address is entered. What else do you suggest is stopping the OP from adding his CC info? Because afaik it's either that or a regional code issue.

because he is registered as a Thailand apple store, if he wants to have a UK address for the apple store, all he has to do is create an id for the "UK" apple store

you have to think of the apple store as separate "Intellectual Property" store each with different selection for different countries. For example, some apps in the US store are not available in the "French" store.
