Never had a problem with it myself although I've heard it doesn't work too well if Firefox is your browser.

However, I'm always willing try something new if there is an easier way to download stuff from xhamster, youtube....etc .

Why you not down load divx ..far better

Tried divx. Good for watching streaming videos but not so good for capture.

vlc player for movies, media monkey for music

Never had a prob with Real Player DD.
But I do prefer DIVX these days.

I've had the same Realplayer problems; never used to be like this years ago.

I have everything on Realplayer turned off and only use it when essential, otherwise Windows media player () or media monkey work fine...

I have to agree that the latest version of Real Player ( SP ) is not as good as the last version. Too slow loading. I'm also having a few issues with Windows media player at the moment for some stuff.

For some reason, my 3rd player, Quicktime , seems to be the best if I want to watch videos from my Sony digital camera.

A lot of people are attracted to Real Player not for its playback but its one click , no fiddling around capture facility. The format converter is also quite handy.

Gom player is good, and like Vic player too.

VLC for streaming and recording, TigerPlayer (MPCStar) for video playback, Ultimate Jukebox for Music.

You can shove Realplayer up your arse with iTunes, fucking load of bloated shit.

Not to be confused with the crap Windows Media Player, this one is only a few megabytes to download, plays EVERY format (.mkv/.avi.mpg.mp4 etc) and I have found to be a lot better than VLC even.

I'm happy with Gom Player.

It's only a player and I mentioned it earlier (MPCStar). I use it as a player because it's dead easy.

But VLC can do a shitload of things that MPCStar can't (Don't know about GOM).
