I like it. It's well made, but they lied about the battery life and the sound quality is pretty poor.Originally Posted by Butterfly

I don't know why people buy these (cheap) docking stations, they sound tinny, not worth the money imho.
Just buy a AV/USB cable and hook the Ipod up to your hifi/entertainment system (assuming you've got one). I bought one a year ago of Ebay Aust, cost me 15 bucks and works great on my Kenwood h/e system.
It plays Nano, Classic, Touch and Iphone.
Because thats all that they had at the airport and no I dont have hifi/entertainment system in my office or bedroom at work but the sound from the JVC is fine for the office and room but for home I will get a good docking station to use at home and the workshopOriginally Posted by The Muffinman
Get a pair of powered speakers for the workshop, mate. I've got some cheap Chinese things and for 800 Baht, they're bloody excellent. About 10" tall and 5" wide, so they even put out a little bit of bass.Originally Posted by Rigger

I also have some JBL's but the cone edges expired due to Thailand's climate. They probably wouldn't be robust enough for the workshop.

Well Muff, I just bought a docking station for 14,000 baht from a apple shop and can tell you the sound is excellent and is a whole lot easy to carry around and move than any Hifi units. Of course they only had the demo in stock so I got to wait until tomorrow for a new unitOriginally Posted by The Muffinman
