That is truly a great deal. I pay three times as much for 1000/1000.

Are you drunk? WTF are you on about, dippy? Something is either faster or it's not. Pretty simple.

And the first thing we are going to do is *not* rely on that shitty edge router for security.

Reread what I posted, I said I bet. You have the same speed bro, good for you. But you dont get it for near the price. No caps on downloads or anything like that either. Again I would bet Thai internet has better overall coverage. I know I had plenty of dropped calls when not on fibre or wifi the last two times home. One time on Verizon, one time on T mobile.

I said it was more expensive from the start.

I actually have significantly faster upload speeds.

No idea and frankly not going to argue the point, I was just making the observation that it is not faster. The ISPs here are also starting to roll out multigig fiber with speeds of 2-5 gigs. So it is only going to get faster.

Perhaps so, since I have no idea what an edge router is. What they gave me is GPON ONU Wi-Fi 6, whatever dat is.

What am I not satisfied about? I have fiber. I just pointed out that AO was wrong when he claimed it was faster in LOS it isn't. Sent everyone here into a kerfuffle, apparently.

Once again I said I would bet. Also how fast do you think the internet is say in rural Georgia where she was? You are in an internet savvy IT city.

^ I didn’t even have a cell phone signal! Data over a regular phone line in completion with all the neighbors sucked.

I did not ask you to google it up, that means shit and you know it. I also edited my post.

I really wish you had some understanding of the difference between Thailand and the USA, not the west coast of the USA bro.

Oh, I do. I have travelled to Georgia on business, among other places. America is a much bigger country than LOS so of course in some rural areas there will have a shit internet connection. A good part of the US west is so remote that there is no cell service, but Elon Musk is changing that game too with Starlink.
