I've has loads of these bluetooth in ear fukers, most of them are shite - but depends on what you use them for. In a gym, on a run, many are fine; get the most comfy pair with a sound signature that matches your preference.

Apple in ear = shite sound. Good in most other areas and very convenient. Too expensive, and wearing Apple gear says "I'm a wanker".

Samsung in ear are decent. &, the wireless charging with easy connectivity is a winner.

Shure in ear bluetooth are very good, but the bluetooth isn't the best, and charging is a pain.

Most of the cheap ones are utter shite.

Personally, I like Sony a lot, but some of their in ears are a strange fit for me; excellent sound and easy to use. I don't like over ears, but the Sony ones are great.

If you need any advice then just let me know... I've wasted so m uch money on all this stuff over the years, plus have very good hearing (unlike most of you old, useless cumslurpers).

    Happy to help.

The cheap bastards are figuring that out.

Personally, I only use earbud out of the house. Home late at night, I use my Sennheisers.

Sennheisers are very good. I don't use them as I prefer the Shure sound signature of my SE846s (passive in-ear are my favourite for traveling). I'm not saying that one high quality set of headphones is better than another, just comes to your ears and preference - of course, some are shite. I once picked up some Beats Studio Buds when I got an iPad pro; both were shite. Gave the iPad Pro to my mother, and rarely use the Beats Studio Buds (the Samsung version which I got free with a new Samsung phone a few years back are better).

I do find the wireless charging that many of them have very useful.

I agree, and I used to use Shure IEM's for years, and they are top-notch, but the sound stage of my Sennheiser over ear headphones are as good as it gets to my ears.

Never been a fan of in ear headphones.

Friend told me to look at Creative Outlier Pro.... good bang for buck.

They go pretty damn good, have retired my JBL over ear cans.

Who da fok needs six mics on a pair of in-ear air buds?? Just play the fookin music well and that's it.

Nice price too, btw, 70 euro.

10mm driver for the pro version, will have to check what size, ahem, mine is.

    Driver size (mm)8.6

    Audio Specifications

    Driver sensitivity at 1kHz/1mW (dB)102

Mics work well, these have also became my office head set that I wear when in Teams meetings with our Aus operation.

Ok, after a week of using my Soundcore Q45 headphones:

    1. They're a bit heavy.
    2. The sound is great for both working and music. Not superb, but very, very good. Nice punchy bass but missing a tad on the highs, but maybe that's my adjustments.
    3. The battery life is incredible. I charged them once last Thursday and again last night (I teach about 7 hours a day, then youtube). After using them all day, the charge is still at 90%
    4. I don't like the ANC, it's weird to me as I can't even hear myself and it feels like there's pressure inside the headphones, but it does an excellent job and has 5 levels of ANC.
    5. It comes with a pretty cool little app you can load on your phone/tablet to manage the settings, even if its connected to another device.

So, after a few months of using my Soundcore Q45's I've found they're heavy and at the end of each class I can't wait to strip them off, so today I got a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds FE There's an app that allows you to customize the sound and touch settings. They sound great and I can barely tell they're in my ear. I'll charge them overnight and give the battery a test tomorrow.

I doubt it will ever generate an adequate income, adequate being about 1.5k a month here in USD, but it would supplement my other income streams (work, retirement, modeling etc).

That's the second time you've ignored my advice, Topper.

The first one was when I posted 'You should take that picture down now'.

Buy once, cry once, that is what I always say. When you add up the two earbuds he bought, he could have just got the best, the Sony WF-1000BMX4. When I decided to buy earbuds I bought all the top brands off Amazon knowing that I could return them within 30 days. I tested them all out and immediately knew the Sony earbuds were the best by far from the moment they went into my ears.

I'm not an audiophile, old and my hearing ain't what it was 20 years ago. I've found with children classes, wearing over the ear headphones helps me hear them better, but with adults the earbud work great. That's just me. I'll rotated between the two.

No, it's the third....adding a splash of paprika on what I had cooked.

Sony WF-1000BMX5 - by far the best wireless in-ear buds I've ever had.

Not cheap, but excellent in all departments.

No, it was a baked avocado dish that I had done with shrimp, cream and cheese in the avocado "indent" covered with a bit of provolone cheese. You suggested a bit of paprika would have been nice and I went off on you like a complete fuckwit.

They are very good, but just one iteration out of date, my friend... The 5's are 25% smaller and lighter, a slightly different sound signature (up to the listener which is better), more mics, so better audio calls, etc, and improved ambient noise pass through and noise cancelling - although, I really enjoy the in-ear comfort and passive noise cancelling of this style of headphones.

I've gotten these things with my last two phones and given them away.

At least it saves the pain of losing the things, which is inevitable.

I mostly use my earbuds for phone calls and when I am away from home. When am at home, I use my Sennheiser over the ear headphones. Whatever works best for you.

Well, there is no stopping progress. In all fairness, when this thread was first posted, I don't think the 5s had come out yet.

I agree the noise-cancelling is excellent, and the mics sound real good too.

I've used them all day now, still rockin' battery wise and really comfortable.
