I have the feeling it's full of people who say things like 'super easy'.

On hearing that I'd expect 'it is what it is' within three minutes, tops.

And at that point they'd get glassed.

Any other recommendations? I just spent $80 US on a plantronics evolve 40 wired headset for work, but would like to go wireless with something that's comfortable with great battery life. I don't necessarily need a mic.

You may like the ones I just purchased.

So after work, I dropped into Best Buy to look at what they had. I looked at the Samsung Galaxy earbuds that Harry suggested. I would be afraid these would fall out on me.

They come in some cool colors though .

I then looked at Apple airpods, but a little pricey for me and they had a little stem on them that looked weird.

Then I came across Beats Flex. I had a pair of wired Beats (By Dre) headphones before and the sound was so awesome, with some great bass. I saw they had the ear buds, but then the Beats Flex which may work well for me. The black ones were on sale for 69.00$. I'm having them delivered as they were out of stock. What is great about these is they last 12 hrs on full battery and charge quite fast (15 mins charge 1.5 hours). You need an iphone type charger to fit the USB that comes with them, so I've been reading.
There is a microphone and on the wire that goes around your neck, you have controls like autoplay, volume, play/pause.

I took a pic of them in the display case.
    I also read about them.
I should have them in a few days. I read reviews on Amazon, which are pretty great.
A bit more info on them. Beats Flex – Wireless Earbuds – Beats

Powerbeats Pro would be better secured in your lughole.

    They're not cheap, though.

She always does this - asks for advice and proceeds to ignore every single bit of it.

Sorry Harry, I meant to say Thailazer, as he recommended them.
I’m doing too much zipping !

I’ll let ya know how I like these beats once I get them and get a new watch band. I already figured out how to download playlists from Spotify to my watch.

Yes, I was looking at those briefly. A bit above my budget. Nice though.

Just wanted to update this thread... so I got both my Garmin watch band and earbuds in the mail on the same day and figured out how to get songs onto the watch with Spotify. I also figured out I needed a different type of adaptor to charge the beats flex earbuds (Apple has taken over Beats). So, I have been happily using both out walking or biking.

The sound is pretty good, but not as much bass as I would have thought. Just a photo of both on my shag rug.
    Thanks all!

That's one way of talking about it I suppose.

Do you take 'em to the bedroom after this or do you prefer to chop them up in the bathroom?

Is that your polite way of inquiring if much shagging gets done on the shag rug Hal?

I think he may be insinuating that you are a preying mantids

Female Mantids Sometimes Eat Their Mates
Yes, it's true, female praying mantids do cannibalize their sex partners. In some instances, she'll even behead the poor chap before they've consummated their relationship. As it turns out, a male mantid is an even better lover when his brain, which controls inhibition, is detached from his abdominal ganglion, which controls the actual act of copulation. Cannibalism is variable across the different mantid species, with estimates ranging from about 46% of all sexual encounters to none at all.

That'd be nil, rug is way too small. Not a half bad idea if it was bigger though. lol

Bluetooth. Amazing tech eh... From 1998. What is amazing is how few true tech breakthroughs we've had in the last 30 years.

Only problem is the first ones were mono and for phone calls. 2004 saw the first stereo headphones come out.

10 most influential headphones – in pictures | Technology | The Guardian

    First Bluetooth (stereo) headphones, 2004

Bluetooth, the wireless connection standard named after the 10th century Danish King, Harald Bluetooth (pictured), and first released in 1999, is the reason mainstream headphones are now going wireless. The first stereo wireless Bluetooth headphones hit the market in 2004, but it wasn’t until the early 2010s that they started to become viable alternatives for traditional wired headphones.

^ Fascinating. I assumed the name was just some groovy corporate thing like Blu-ray.

Fact check: Bluetooth is named after Viking King Harald

Why was Bluetooth named after Harald Bluetooth?
An Intel representative suggested the name based on the reasoning that Harald united Scandinavia and Bluetooth wanted to unite mobile PCs and cellphones to communicate.
