Here is my printer fwwiw Mike
Brother MFC-T800W. Had for a few years now. Wifi is a must. Here they use a refill tank system versus cartridges which I find very convenient. This particular printer has a self maintenance software that it runs the printer through a quick heading cleaning cycle to keep it ready. Always works on demand. Plus it has a nice phone app where you can scan and send to phone and email or print anywhere.
I am a huge supporter of paperless but here in Thailand they are not. They not only like all docs in paper, signed and dated they want duplicate and triplicate of it all especially for the Visa extension package. So a printer is a must in these parts.
I just take my empty cartridges to a local IT mall where they charge 100 Baht to refill them. Not being a cheap cvnt, but it's pointless putting brand new cartridges in to print a few pages only to find they've dried out next time I go to print something again 6 months later.
Indeed, skiddy BS once again.
I have a HP Envy 6020 printer I found whilst doing a delivery last year.
It has WiFi and I pay 1.99 a Month for the ink. They all do ink on subscription nowadays and offer first 3 months free.
It did start printing really slowly. I need to look into that today.
Just downloaded HP plugin on phone and works great again now
^ you have your printer hooked up to your phone? what kind of devils sorcery is this.
I have been looking into household hacks and Barbara from Luton who bakes and ices cakes says you can make your own ink using food dyes.
