Buy Intel Core i5-10400F Processor (12MB Cache, Up to 4.30 GHz) - invadeit.co.th

    Buy Addlink S68 1TB PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD (AD1TBS68M2P) - invadeit.co.th

Is there a reason that getting a new CPU and SSD and then installing Win 10 off a USB wouldn't work? (everything else - RAM, graphic's card etc - seems to be fine)

what is the old CPU and why does it need replacing ?

your problem was just dust not allowing the CPU to cool and so it thermal throttled - if your CPU was old enough to be a problem - like 15 years old , then the new CPU would require a new motherboard and new ram

^ His problem is he's a tight fokker who won't go to Fortune Town or buy a new PC with a legit copy of Windows.

That thing he's trying to fix is older than most of his dates

    Isn't the CPU the motherboard?

There is Q67h-AD on a sticker on the motherboard.

Acer Q67H2-AD LGA 1155 motherboard – Empower Laptop

Just checked, and the processor is an i3-2100 CPU@3.10ghz

Because the computer keeps on crashing/freezing, can't update to Win 10, and instead of chucking the fek'ing thing in the bin and buying a brand new one for the kid to destroy, thought that buying new internals for the parts that may be fudged would be better.

    I've been wrong before.

    Colour me lost.

Are Win 7 crashing issues usually caused by issues with the HD, the CPU or the motherboard?

    My guess is the HD.

There's no need to do that when you can simply buy a new motherboard, CPU, hard drive and RAM and put it together yourself.
