What's important to me is "charge time" , camera has to be good with good zoom, and I do need a headphone jack. (Muso who has to test the amps from time to time).
So, I am a OnePlus fan.
Super fast charging (they call it dash charging) from 20% to 80% in 15-20 minutes!
You can get the older models (5t ) for around 10k baht now.
But my buddy has the Samsung S20 R ( i think) and it has a fantastic zoom on the camera. That's impressive.
Has to be 128 gb for me too as I don't want to change phones often. It's such a pain getting a new one.
Smartphones come with a headphone jack still.... With the introduction of wireless ear buds and headphones who uses a corded headset????
I agree, super fast charge is extremely nice. I have the S20 ultra 5G and I have to say the Camera is really quite amazing. The vid and picture quality are outstanding. I use AIS and the service here in Thailand is WAY better then Verizon and AT&T in states. I can tether off my S20 to my laptop so I can sit on a beach and work or download shows remotely.
All that said, all these features of the new smartphones can be overwhelming for the old timers. I have a few colleagues who still want the old pager day yet anytime we are anywhere they turn to me and say "Hey, How far is this", or "how can we get there from here", "Can you get us a ride". While I can appreciate a flip phone for what it was back in the day, there is no need to go without. Being able to search the web for something you want in the area you are, restaurants, maps, chat or vid call with friends through Line and Whatsapp. Share real time pictures with family and friends is awesome technology. Are the flagship models worth their price....Hmmm. They are not really phones IMHO, they are mini hand held computers that can do a host of functions oh yeah and you can call someone if you want. They allow you to remain mobile and still be connected.
Why do you continually post crap. The first versions came out shortly after Google took over. 2007, 2008.
The history of Android: The evolution of the biggest mobile OS in the world
I have a Sony Xperia. Works fine - and I have stuck with Sony (Sony Ericsson) for my last few phones. Mainly as I hate shifting to a different manufacturer as it takes ages to work out all the small differences (how to find settings, use the keyboard etc).
Just buy a cheap low end phone if you dont use all the features. Something with Android 9 up. if you lose or drop it just buy another.
I have a 6 year old nokia 930 been dropped numerous times never damaged and never missed a beat. I miss window phone10. I keep it as a spare when my samsung gets repaired which happens regularly. They are as weak as piss and expensive to fix in Aus. They also have a load of bloat ware. this is australian dollars but you can check the models.

I’m on the iPhone X still but will be getting a new one when the 13 comes out.
For a cheapie I’d get a low end Samsung. Wouldn’t get the blatant chink phones out of principal and security.
Nokia's first Android smartphones set to debut in 2017 - revu
Those were a forked version of android..Not android proper
Nokia made the grave mistake of shipping the phone without support for the Google Play Store and services. Unlike Samsung’s TouchWiz or other smartphone skins of the time, the Nokia X platform wasn’t just a skin. Instead, it was built as a forked version of open-source Android and was a completely customized take on Google’s operating system.

I recently bought the iphone SE that came out last year. It is the cheapest iphone yet (starting at $599), and has decent specs.
If you aren't used to iphones, I'm not sure you'd like it. Apple takes some getting used to, but once you go iphone it is hard to go back to android imo. The screen is the same size at the iphone 6. Excellent pics, and fast!

Samsung are now offering £200 off their s21 if you give them any broken phone.
The bastards.
I thnk to undercut Apple's iPhone mini.
Tbh. I think I prefer my s8 to the s21 although the s21 has a slightly better camera, its harder to crack the screen and battery life is better.
Its a chunky thing with a case and I cant use it one handed like the s8.
^ You shouldn't be taking selfies while yer driving that bus anyway.
