Unbeknownst to me until about a week ago Samsung devices save photos in HEIC format. Apparently this allows more images to be stored without larding memory as is the case with jpegs. Here's the thing, I've found that HEIC images are not supported by this forum. I've had problems with Twitter as well.
I've got a couple of apps that allegedly convert HEIC to jpeg, but they haven't worked all that great (convert a normal snapshot into a 25mb monstrosity).
Any tips on converting HEIC into jpegs until when and if social media mavens allow HEIC files on their platform?
