^ Thanks Lom... and to Harry.
I backed up all the photos to Google Drive no problem, so now I have compressed pics on Google Photos and full resolution on Google Drive. I didn't know there was such a thing.
The moisture notification is now on full time, but what with a visit to the vets and restocking chlorine and sausages there was not time to get to the service centre today. That's tomorrow's job.
My new 'high speed' wireless charger came yesterday and after leaving the damn phone on it overnight it was only at 76% in the morning. I don't know how people put up with them.
Furthermore, I used the charger in the car today on my way to the vet and every time I went over a bump in the road the bladdy phone jumped off the charger and landed on the floor. I'm gonna use this wireless thing for emergencies only.
I took the phone to the Samsung Service Centre today and they're gonna replace the mother board under warranty.
At least I think that's what they said.
I'm back on my old A5 so no more food pics for a few days!
What a relief.
^+^^ are you referring to his phone getting repaired or the upcoming absence from the dinner thread?
^ The phone getting fixed, I would say!
Indeed so, the phone getting fixed. Sorry for the ambiguity
How long did they tell you it will take?
Two to three days... so don't worry, it's looking good for Monday's dinner!
Phone of course, peas deserve proper technicolor. Sorry had to drop the U as its Mercan and they can't spell.
I discovered this 'Your Phone' today on Windows store.
You can pair your Samsung up to your laptop and make calls, send messages, whatsapp and see all your photos and notifications on your lappy. Its pretty good.
Also did you know your phone can pair up two different bluetooth speakers at the same time?
Bored. I need to get out
I bet it's not so easy with a Mac... anything rarely is.
I've only got one Bluetooth speaker... I'll have to get another.
Bored as well!
I picked my phone from the Service Centre today... all fixed under warranty.
All they had to do was replace the charging port, so no loss of data and no need to migrate the Apps back, etc.
I sat in the car after picking it up and nothing worked, so I took it back in to the service guy to see what was wrong. He turned on 'Mobile Data' and it was as good as new.
What a dick!
time for a sweaty gardener romp then
^ My pc's been fine all along!
