Yes and no, or rather yes and yes... MS are sneaky, so they likely link to licenses in territories which are activated by customers - but, if those customers are using a 'key' that is not for the territory the customer is in than problems will arise. Sony did it with content (most annoying it was too). &, it's normal in the computer industry to license territories differently.

Here you go, a list of defined regions:

Microsoft Volume Licensing - Microsoft Open Programs Affiliate Participation Policy

& some explanation from the top of that page:

The Microsoft Open License, Open Value, and Open Value Subscription programs (the Open Programs) allow customers to share agreements and accompanying benefits—such as price levels, centralized license management, and license transfer—with their legal Affiliates throughout a Defined Region. Consolidation of purchase, license transfer, and sublicensing is not allowed beyond the Defined Region boundaries identified below. The term “Affiliate” is defined in the relevant Open Program agreement.

So, perhaps, Jabir puts in a license key which the machine initially accepts to get up and running, but after that, as the machine communicates with MS servers that notice Jabir's defined territory and the licensing key's defined territory are different, error notices start popping up and problems occur?

That's not for Enterprises, it's for charities etc. up to a maximum of about 750 computers.

OMG you've struck gold here, over the months whenever WinDefender ran a virus/malware check it kept popping up KMspico threats, so I quarantined and then deleted it.

^ ^That aint going away until you download the legit Home version and put a product key in.

That pro cracked version you have and that cracked KM spico is probably riddled with malware too.

If you are still too tight to buy an official Windows 10 Home , install a cracked windows 7 or 8 on it(100 baht at Tukcom)and then get Windows 10 Home for free by following this...

Ok, KMspico kept stalling with errors during installation even though I allowed it through Defender, but good news is the activation reminder has gone and system says Win is activated.

Thanks for all input, fingers eyes and legs crossed...

If you use the link he provided that may be so as there technically is not "offcial" version of KMSpico. There is a safe place to get that however. It is here...

I have been using it since 2005 the last time I bought any MS product. I works exactly as it should and is completely malware free. You will have to turn off defender if you havn't already as it flags it with what is known as a "false positive". The reason they flag it is they know exactly what it is and exactly what you are about to do with it.

All it does is inject pirated enterprise keys into the OS. Works a treat and it has since 2005 for me.

It's OK, we understand the need to preserve your dignity with these little white lies. It's OK to be poor.

We used to return our soda bottles for a 3p refund, then take turns climbing the shop's back wall to retrieve them.

And who didn't go as a mob to Saturday morning movies, taking turns each week to pay for entry then open the emergency exit by the bogs to let the others in?

    Good days, those were.

As I said, I have morals, I only steal from the wealthy. Thanks Mr Murdoch for sharing your subscription fees with me.

Thanks, bit of a way to go yet but will get there; worst case is the hassle to dl a new Win10Home and reinstall with my genuine key.

    WTF are you talking about???

Jabir is having problems with his MS o/s that simply cannot occur with an Apple machine. Macs are expensive, but they last longer, have better customer support (for longer) and just keep going for a long time. My average Dell (which were decent) laptops lasted 2-3 years. I've only had a Macbook for little over two years, but collagues have had there's for 5, 7, 10 years with no issues.

MS is endless problems, everyone knows that.

I'm happy in my MacWorld where everything just works... Why don't you get back to the Brexit thread and explain how Brexit will never happen, or rush over to the Covid-19 thread and tell everyone how it's no worse than a seasonal flu - do you not get bored with being wrong time after time??? Here's a tip: if you're in agreement with Mr Sausage and Cyrille (which you often are) then you should think again...

It is kind of but not really.

It still works but I can guarantee you that there is no "official version" as we previously linked. I should have linked the portable version that I use but I forgot as I do not use this thing but once in a blue moon.

Easily solved if you know what you are doing and the real problem appears to be he let somchai work on his computer.

Complete horseshit. Macs are proprietary garbage that are overpriced and way under-performing compared to a PC. I could never play most of the PC games I play on a Mac as they are just dated trash and do not get updated with the best CPU's, RAM, SSD's or graphics cards. Why? Because most Apple users are clueless fucks who buy apple because they are Luddites and PC illiterate.

That is just not true. Apple pulls the plug on old hardware mainly because they want to force you to buy a new version. Once again proprietary horseshit.

Now, where was I... Oh yes, Jabir, do yourself a favour and get a Mac - you will wonder why you didn't do so many years ago.
