I'm looking for a computer monitor – but need help

New Kid on the block , not sure if this is the correct place , but here goes.

I have been looking around to buy a computer monitor and I need some thing that is fairly large in size may be 28 – 32 inches . I really want a monitor that has a Glossy screen , personally I don't mind seeing my reflection , even when watching porn . I have all ways thought that a glossy screen gives you a better more crisp and sharp image . I have been around as many IT shops as I can find and they either have no glossy screen monitors , or the ones they have for sale are way to small . Some of the IT shops offered to order a monitor for me if I could give them the make and model number , my problem is that I can't really find any where on the Internet where I could just input my specifications , and the web site comes up with a list of say 28 – 32 inch monitors that all have glossy screens .

Any one know of such an Internet web site or some way to track down which monitors have glossy screens , with out having to look at 1'000s of individual specifications .

By glossy, do you mean glass? Most LCD screens today are glossy impaired.

You didn't say where you are, otherwise I'd recommend just heading to Fortune if in Bangkok. Someone must have something in stock that you'd like.

    Sorry

When I say Glossy I mean as opposed to a matte finish which reduce reflectivity

Ive walked around every where I can think of , there a virtually '' NO '' Glossy screen monitors on display , I only have a Honda Wave motorbike so I can't go very far , so may be ordering some thing off the internet and having it delivered to my room would be good. I can't understand it , nearly every laptop and net book has a '' Glossy '' screen so why the lack of glossy monitors .

    Hello there,

I recommend you to go for Asus PB278 Q. It's been four months I am using it and I can confidently recommend it to anyone. It has a huge and comfortable glossy screen. It allows users to view greater image detail and do more with an onscreen footprint much larger than that of standard displays. You must take an initiative. Good luck

It's great of you to show enthusiasm, but if you check the date you'll notice the last post on this thread was seven months ago, so it's probably resolved.
