Pop ups

I'm tired of all these damn popups and can't seem to find anything to stop them. I installed ad aware and it doesn't work for shit and keeps telling me to install updates and when I try to do that, all these damn popups come up and also ads for porno sites pop up behind the download sheet.

Is there a good blocker that actually works out there? Thanks for any help.

Several, but I really would do a thorough computer clean first, sounds to me as though you have a problem on your computer. The porn pop ups are a big giveaway....

Several, but I really would do a thorough computer clean first, sounds to me as though you have a problem on your computer. The porn pop ups are a big giveaway....

Agree, sounds like some sort of malware more than some sort of browser setting.

Start with updating and running Malwarebytes, then Spybot Search and Destroy, give Superantispyware a run too.

Save/export your bookmarks and passwords then delete your browser (Firefox or Chrome?), run your antivirus, download your browser again and import your bookmarks etc. and set up adblockplus.

Without knowing you and your computer, change the startup by going to Start - type msconfig - click startup - uncheck everything but your antivirus (and anything else that you actually want to start on startup.

Run CCleaner every few days.

I installed the Adblocker plus and it's still not helping. What is this Related searches (Read English/ Teaching English as a second language) stuff that pops up every time I change a page on this site?

I need to get some help on this shite.

Related Searches This is the crap that pops up on every page here. Luigi, I tried page four and ran it and it found this shit and supposedly deleted it but this shit is still here. I've run Malwarebytes and my Ccleaner and still no luck.

Looks like a browser hijacker.

Take a look at this Norton tool.

I'd delete my browsers (after saving the bookmarks and passwords), then run spybot S+D and ADW Cleaner. I'd go through all the program and download files and look for stuff that shouldn't be there. Then reinstall the browsers and see.

Try going to browser settings and "block popups". FF and Chrome can do.
