Apple has revealed the new iPhone 6, mac fans have been ecclesiastic over it, and they weren't disappointed.

it's superb,

but 900 USD for one is a bit OTT

almost tempted to buy one if I could install Android on it

iOS 8 seems to be another bloated POS system from Apple though

Now, I am actually considering breaking my ultimate taboo in getting one of these so I can inspect photographs on the hoof and a quality display is what is needed. I don't have much with apps and stuff like that - i like battery life not pissing about.

So, what's the battery life like? My Samsung galaxy grand thing is 3 days with email pushed through it and nothing else. I always had the idea that iPish stuff is about 3 minutes.

I thought the 5c was a low point, but these 2 phones are pathetic.

The basic iPhone 6 is about 250 pounds more than the Galaxy Alpha, but all but identical in every respect; it's 100 pounds more than an xperia z3 compact, but lesser in every way - truly a low point for iPhones...

From a Belgian this may make sense if one were in deepest Bruges, Ghent or Antwerpen, but given we aren't and most are not riven with a faith based philosophy one must assume in his rather cute little way little Butterfly is really saying ecstatic or even enthusiastic but one can never be quite sure.

Pretty poor show from Apple. That LG G3 launched 4 months ago and is still head and shoulders above the 6Plus and smaller in the hand too.
