Coup Internet or TV Issues?

Just curious if anyone has had any problems with the Internet? Since just before martial law up to now I have noticed my net stalling out getting cut off at times. Yesterday and today has been the worst. Sites don't load but later load.

Is it just overload from people online?

My internet is fine same as normal. I'm with 3BB in Samutprakarn. My TV (CTH) has been off air since last night.

Still have australia network,bbc and al jazeera nothing else. Internet fine

I got cut off yesterday at my apt and today I'm getting stalls at the uni office with no one here. I often wonder if they are monitoring the building or something.

I am finding the internet a tad slower since yesterday morning due to volume as far as I am concerned

Same here. Net bw is near overload. Only way folks can get any news.

Net - same as usual, slow and intermittent.

A Thai Colleague said Thailand is too screwed up to really monitor the Internet even in government buildings.

Silly of the new leaders to cut of lakorn and sports. Now they're all just sitting around talking about the coup..

People having face to face conversations and personal interaction.

Has body language become less significant? Will you get invited over for dinner to replace the lack of TV programmes?

I realise the interwebs and cell towers are still working, but what if your phone chat was all about soaps and pop idol?

Internet fine here. TV was down last night, but didn't check this morning.

Internet going down would be a big problem for me. I might have to talk to the Mrs....

With both the Thai and the farang TV out, the missus and I had a chat. She seems like a nice lady.

No more internet today. It went off this morning then on and then off again. Luckily I always keep an aircard for when I travel outside of Bangkok. My first suspects are the gardeners who were cutting trees next to the telecom line. A big branch felt right on the line that connects to my house. It was ok then but maybe a connector went loose. Lets hope True doesn't take too long to fix the problem.

These issues and problems [regarding general internet] exist in the best of times.
