How to make a site think I'm using IE, with another browser

I have a Thai immigration website that I need to use for informing them of the guests staying in my resort.

Up until now (for years), I have had no trouble using Firefox to log-on and do this, but now it has a pop up saying " use IE browser only" and when I click OK it shuts the page down.

I have tried it on IE, and it does the same, but actually closes the browser down as well. Same with Google chrome.

    Foked if I know.

I don't believe it has anything to do with whatever browser you choose...

    Thai websites.

Have you tried changing the user agent setting to force FireFox to report that it is IE?

Yeah I used to have to use a plugin called 'User Agent Switcher' to log into the old Bangkok Bank website. Worked a treat.

If their website only supports older versions of IE, try compatibility view.

^ I didn't even try that, I just just downloaded the button for agent switcher.

Now that I click on that link, I don't understand the page I see.

It might help if you hadn't Borked and 404d the link by adding the extra http at the end!

^ OK, now I understand thanks Harry, but I don't like using IE anyway, so now I have my button on Firefox, I'm happy as Larry.
