Vuse Update sets Yahoo as your browser homepage.

On the last Vuse update, I accidentally agreed for the program to set Yahoo as my browser home page.

It's my own fault, I was just clicking agree, agree, agree and my eyes only caught the small print as I'd already clicked.

Has anyone else had this problem and successfully got rid of it?

No matter how many times I go into my Firefox preferences and set my home page back to Google, as soon as I open Vuse it overrides it and sets it to yahoo again.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Arrrh, turns out it didn't work. After restarting Vuse it went straight back to Yahoo again.

I did fix it in the end though by resetting Firefox. Now my firefox is running faster than it has in years. I must have picked up loads of bits of shit over the years, probably from excessive porn analysis.

Anyway, here's how I did it in case anyone else needs a clean up.

    1. Under the 'Help' drop down I chose 'Troubleshooting Information.

    2. Clicked the box at the top right hand corner "Reset Firefox to it's default state"

    3. A drop down came saying it would try to keep all my important stuff so clicked 'Reset Firefox'

It kept all my bookmarks, passwords etc and is running like new.
