I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and keep getting a "Authentication Error Occurred" message when signing in and can't use the internet. How do I fix this problem? Does anyone know where to download a user manual for this thing? Thanks for any help.

I have tab ten some time you need to just turn them off.
20 second then turn it back on, if the problem still there take it back.

PS the user manual is in the Tab, in Setting I think

Do a factory reset on it.

Have you downloaded a dodgy app on it ?

Back up your photos and important stuff before you reset it, if you can

Reboot your router, click forget on your WiFi connection (on the phone--hold the option down and it will let u choose forget). Hit scan to find your wifi connection again. Re-enter the password. That`s what I did and it worked

Thanks guys, got it sorted by True online. I had to change my wifi setting.

Good news! Samsung looks to be updating the Galaxy Tab 7.7 (GT-P6800 / GT-P6810) to Android 4.1 called Jelly Bean! According to Samsung Thailand Samsung will update the Galaxy Tab 7.7 to Android Jelly Bean. Which simply means lots of new features and a much faster tablet. SamMobile asked Samsung Benelux for a confirmation sadly we have no response yet. Let’s hope this is true! Many Galaxy Tab 7.7 users started to blame Samsung about the missing Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Tab 7.7.

"GT-P6800.pdf" and follow your nose.

Beware: I found there are differences between my Tab 7.7 and the Manual, but they are usually manageable.

hi guys, you might be able to help, my wife has bought this tab thing second hand, i don't think you can make phone calls with it, it is a 7inch samsung tab android i think

all in thai so i can't make head nor tale of it, it does have skype on it though but all in thai, just a collection of games really

can i change it to english and is there a manual for it, no idea how old it is and if it's any bloody use apart from playing games

i don't understand these things so would appreciate any help, cheers

are you trying to use wifi or a mobile network?

if you have a mobile network plan; go to settings, select mobile network, select actvate packet data, click ok when prompted about incurring extra charges. Do not select data roaming.

for wifi; go to setting, the wifi, turn wifi on, wait while it scan for a provider, select the network you want, enter the passkey as necessary.
That should work, it's fairly simple once you get used to it.

Worse comes to worse you can usually do a operating system reinstall and start from scratch. I had to do that on my SGS1 after some morons in Argentina scrambled things up.
