    Cool Big Flat TV!

Think the time is about "ripe", yes ripe to buy a big flat TV, of course being a Roughneck don't know a dam thing about them.
Could anybody enlighten me as to what is good, price etc.

(To any other oilfield trash that may read this, this is called planning, before forking out hard earned cash!)

You should decide on exactly what features you want on the TV before you jump in. Projection, plasma, LCD all have pro's and con's. Don't forget SVideo connections, HDTV capability etc.

SVideo shouldn't be a problem as I don't know what it is?
HDTV is not available in Thailand (is it) so again not required?
Some free gifts would be nice, as long as they are quality plastic!

Its a damn good price as its HDTV as well. They are on sale everywhere as its World Cup time. 59,000 to 89,000 at Lotus.

Samsung looks like a very very nice model.

Right, I agree with SC that you should decide which one you want; projection, plasma, LCD or slimfit TV?

Then I can provide the suit one for you.

plasma has to be replace every 2 years according to some bad rumors.

the cheap trend seems to go with LCD TV

I wait for them to hit 49,000 over the summer and I will buy one
